| Royal Rangers 25th Anniversary | ||
| 2007 marked the 25th Anniversary of our Royal Rangers Outpost, Kuala Lumpur #1. Started in 1982, the Royal Rangers planned several activities throughout the year to celebrate the significant milestone. Below are some highlights of the celebration. | The Royal Rangers celebrated our 25th Anniversary on 18 August 2007. Over 420 Rangers, parents and friends joined us for this special dinner celebration. | ||

| 25th Anniversary Fund | ||

||
| The
Royal Rangers 25th Anniversary Funds was conceived with the purpose to
raise funds as our contribution towards the building of the Calvary
Convention Centre, sharing in the vision to transform lives and impact
nations. We are indeed grateful to the generous sponsors who have
contributed and supported our 25th Anniversary celebration events. At
planning stage, as it was our 25th anniversary, we thought that RM 25,000
would be a good figure to aim at. Praise the Lord! We raised RM 75,000
for the Calvary Convention Centre. We thank God for this privilege to be a part of the Calvary Convention Centre, for the opportunity for every Royal Ranger to participate in the future of Calvary Church in reaching, teaching and keeping young people for Christ. |

|
Lim Sew Hok was one of the pioneering
commanders when Royal Rangers started in 1982. He has served as Outpost
Commander and was Senior Commander from 1985 to 1987. He served in the
formation of the national Royal Rangers ministry and received the
National Outstanding Service Award in 2000. |

| Pastor's Medal | ||
We thank God for a Senior Pastor who has not
only been supportive of our ministry but actively involved in our
programmes. It was his vision that brought Royal Rangers to Calvary
Church and he has been instrumental in our success. This year, in
conjunction with our 25th Anniversary, he joined us on our Mt Kinabalu
Expedition and we were greatly blessed and challenged to see him at the
summit. |

| Special Service Award | ||
| In
conjunction with our 25th Anniversary, we recognised a dedicated group
of leaders who has demonstrate exceptional leadership in serving in the
Outpost Council. The Council serves to coordinate and oversee the Royal
Rangers ministry - from planning to finances, training and equipment,
they are actively involved in our weekly meetings & activities to assist
and support the Commanders. Congratulation to Chin Yoke Yee, David Peter, Samuel Sham, Tan Swee Hock and Lim Sew Hok for their service and the significant contribution they have made to the Royal Rangers. |
