Camping In the Highland

The Royal Rangers Annual Camp was held at the Jabatan Hutan Sungai Pauh, Tanah Rata in Cameron Highlands, Pahang from 11th to 13th September 2003. The Annual Camp is open to all Royal Rangers age 8 and above.

Sixty Rangers and Commanders spent three days and two nights camping in tents and enjoy the great outdoors. The activities for the camp included a visit to the BOH plantation and tea factory tour, a nature hike and various camp activities. The highlight on the concluding night was a campfire with the theme “Be Fruitful” and a BBQ. This was the first camp that we have organized in the highlands.

It was a wonderful experience camping under pine trees in the cool weather. We praise God for blessing us with excellent weather throughout the camp.

The various programmes and activities built on the camp theme “Be Fruitful in Every Good Work” with Associate Pastor Christopher and Pam Lee ministered during the morning devotions and night services. The Rangers even dressed up in their “fruitful” costumes for the campfire. As part of the Royal Rangers programme, the camp provided for the spiritual, physical, mental and social need of the Royal Rangers. All went home looking forward to the next exciting event.
