| In conjunction with Father's Day, the Royal Rangers organised a camp for fathers and their sons. The camp was held on the 24 & 25 June 2005 (Friday to Saturday) at the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), Kepong. | ||

This camp was planned especially to provide a unique experience for the fathers and sons to work together, interact and bond in a natural setting – camping in the outdoors, cooking over a campfire, hiking, participating in outdoor activities and spiritual development through the council of fire, devotions and prayer together. A total of 33 father and 41 children attended this camp with the help of 8 Royal Rangers leaders. | |

| Highlights of the camp included the BBQ dinner, Council of Fire, father and son devotion, canopy walk and playing at the water fall. | ||
