About the Organizer - Calvary Church

Calvary Church was dedicated to the glory of God in 1968 through the effort of dedicated missionaries. Rev. Tan Sri (Dr) Prince and Puan Sri (Dr) Petrina Guneratnam was the first Malaysian couple to pastor the Church. Today, it is a well-established church recognized for its contribution toward building a positive society in a multi-cultural and multi-racial country.

Calvary’s dynamic programs impact, children, youth, families and the elderly. Children are impacted through providing exposure and training in music and creative arts. There are also programs for children with learning disabilities and special needs. The youth programs include small group activities, leadership development training and opportunities for community services. The church regularly conducts pre-marital, parent and marriage enrichment seminars for couples and families.

The vision and God's call to Calvary Church is to be a fountainhead church where waters will flow to reach near and far with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Calvary Convention Centre is birthed from God's call to enable Calvary Church to fulfill its new millennium role and responsibility to be a Jesus Generation, an Equipping Institution and a Sending Church.

About the Event

Calvary Carnival is the Church’s annual event to raise funds for the building of Calvary Convention Centre (CCC). Admission is free.
