Delight in rising to build His Church |
|
(1 Pet 2:9; Eph 4:11-12;
1 Cor 14:12b; 1 Chr 28:10) |

|
|
The church comprises God's people. They are His
chosen people, royal priesthood and holy nation called to be a blessing to
the world. God gives specific people as gifts t the church to strengthen
her. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are also poured out on believers for this
purpose. A strong church is a strong witness. The physical church building
where the Body of Christ worships God is also a wonderful testimony to the
community and nation reminding us of His Presence, Power and Provision. As
God strengthens our fellowship as believers, let us joyfully thank Him for
the privilege of building the Calvary Convention Centre. We can appropriate
David's words as he exhorted the nation to build the Temple for ourselves -
"Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a temple as a sanctuary.
Be strong and do the work"! Let us rise to build. |
